Executive Team

Melissa Acton-Buzard

Bringing more than 16 years of sales, human resources, recruiting, and management experience, Melissa is an industry expert known for her talent and skills in matching the right professional to the right opportunity. Prior to starting Chameleon Technologies, she held various positions at technical staffing and consulting firms, including Consultis Information Technology and Codesic, Inc.

Melissa strives to support the community in which she lives and runs a business as a board member of the City of Kirkland’s CEO Business Roundtable and Kirkland Chamber of Commerce. She also serves on the University of Washington’s Business and Economic Development Center (BEDC) Advisory Board. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from University of Washington and a Master of Business Administration Degree with an emphasis on leadership.

During her time away from work, Melissa volunteers in community programs such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation, where she participates as a Wish Granter. Melissa enjoys traveling, camping, skiing, and spending time with her family and bulldog, Dakota.

Mike Luckenbaugh

Mike is a proven professional with 16 years of industry experience in executive management, sales and recruiting for organizations with operations throughout the United States and worldwide. Prior to co-founding Chameleon Technologies, Mike worked at Consultis Information Technology managing sales, recruiting and administration teams that delivered quality-focused business processes, while increasing revenue and maintaining profitability. Before that, he served as a Senior Staffing Specialist at Spherion Technology Group.

Mike graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the College of Business at Central Washington University. He is also a board member for the Seattle Mariners RBI Club and is a member of The Entrepreneurs’ Organization.

Off work, Mike is actively involved in the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, fundraising for events throughout the year. He also enjoys exercising, snowboarding, traveling, boating, collecting autographed sports memorabilia, and spending time with his family and Yellow Labs, Cowboy and Lucky.
